Dorchester CARES Steering Committee
Purpose of the Steering Committee
The Dorchester CARES Steering Committee provides leadership to the collaborative by making policy decisions regarding priorities, short and long?term goals and strategies needed to achieve the CARES mission. Steering committee policy decisions guide day?to?day activities carried out by administrative staff, inter?agency teams, program committees, and partner agencies. Whenever possible the issues will be brought to the larger coalition for input and discussion with the final decision resting with the Steering Committee.
