GOOD BYES
Tina Nichols, dedicated Parent Leader has completed her internship at Dorchester
CARES. Tina has put her heart and soul into her work with parents. She is a very
important person to CARES staff and community. She is and will continue to be an
amazing example to other parents in overcoming adversity and using her experiences
to help others.
Denise Gonsalves, energetic Continuum Coordinator has always "been there" for
staff and families. Her talents were discovered by other entities in the community. She is the
new Director of the Cape Verdean Task Force. In this position, Denise will continue to
grow herself as a Cape Verdean woman and will share herself and all of her talents w/ the
Cape Verdean community.
Jo-Anne Henry PATCH Coordinator, principled, smart, able to bring unlikely parties
together to make changes in child protection and human services systems which affect
families in the Dorchester community. We don't know how she did it, but she did! It's all
in her many bags of tricks. Jo-Anne has been selected for The Annie E. Casey Foundation's
Children and Family Fellowship. It is an honor for her and the Fellowship is honored to have her.
We will miss you all. We are both sad at our loss and excited for the possibilities you three
will create no matter where you go.
